Not all tattoos have to be intense to be considered well done.
These butterflies are light, airy and very pretty. The use of color was nicely achieved and really help the butterflies to stand out while the stars and waves help to give an ethereal feel to the piece.
Great mix of soft lines with more clean lines, adding to the overall balance of the background with the butterflies themselves. The back of the shoulder is a nice area for this type of tattoo, as it provides a flat canvas for the artist.
